Backpack Outreach

Fellowship Raleigh is sponsoring our 2nd annual “Give a Kid a Chance” back-to-school outreach on August 14th, 2010 at Ligon Middle School. We will be providing book bags to 450+ downtown families in need whose children will be attending this school. These book bags will contain assorted school supplies that the children will need throughout the school year. There are “no strings attached” in these gifts – we simply want to follow Jesus Christ in generously and compassionately serving those in need.

How can you help?
We will need many volunteers to help on the day of the event. Please email david@fellowshipraleigh.org to find out how you can help! We would also greatly appreciate any donation in helping accomplish our goal. The best way to help is by writing a check to “Fellowship Raleigh” with “Backpack Event” written on the memo line and mail it to P.O. Box 19592 / Raleigh, NC 27619.

Fellowship Raleigh is a 501(c)3 charitable organization so all gifts are tax deductible. The administrative costs are donated so 100% of your gift will go directly to meet the needs of these kids and their families.
